TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
A LETTER FROM OUR OWNER/MANAGER
As most of you know by now, the Colorado law changed on March 1st allowing grocery and convenience stores to sell wine. Voters passed this bill by a very small margin in November because those giant corporations spent over $30 million in advertising.
On behalf of my employees and our families, I am asking you to keep shopping with our local store. We are just one store, not a big chain, and all our sales dollars stay in Aurora. Although it might be convenient for you to buy some wine from their limited selection (their business
model is to only offer high-volume, high-margin categories and brands; eventually the others
may no longer be available), please keep in mind where your money is going from your purchase. It will be going directly out of state to places like California, Ohio, and Arkansas to mention just a few.
Our store also has several things that they cannot offer:

◊ Same day delivery service to the surrounding area zip codes.
◊ Weekly tastings.
◊ Special offers for our military customers, special events, and frequent contests and giveaways.
This store has been open since 1979, and our current ownership has been here since 1993. We have consistently been voted The Best of Aurora, and we are also heavily involved in the community helping local charities with donations and sponsorship of events.
Thank you for your loyalty and patronage over the last 44 years. We will do our best to continue to serve all your beverage needs in the coming years, so please keep shopping with us!
