The ripest fruit was selected from the Lodi, Delta, and Clarksburg areas for their Chardonnay wine and they’re proud to offer it as the perfect complement to their red wines. The 2012 Dark Horse Chardonnay underwent alcoholic fermentation with hand-selected yeast and then a secondary malolactic fermentation to create a round, full mouthfeel.
